A scalloped halo of ten glittering old cut diamonds, totalling 1.00 carat, envelops a 1.50 carat, periwinkle blue, oval-shaped natural sapphire. The high quality stones are estimated to be G in colour and VS in clarity, working in harmony with the high quality sapphires. The vintage piece is all set in platinum, with the balance of the ring in 18 carat yellow gold, to create this 1960s rendition of the always fashionable sapphire and diamond halo ring.
