Victorian Diamond and Pearl Crossover Ring with Set Shoulders, c.1890s
18 Carat Yellow Gold + Platinum
This tasteful diamond and pearl crossover ring was handmade in platinum and 18 carat yellow gold during the 1890s. This elegant ring stars twin old cut diamonds set diagonally in claw illusion settings to centre a creamy white pearl. The pearl measures 5.8mm and the two dazzling diamonds have a combined weight of 0.50 carat, with an estimate grading of H in colour and SI in clarity. This leads to carved 18 carat yellow gold shoulders, which were typical of Victorian era rings.
