Vintage 0.70ct Diamond and Sapphire Target Ring, c.1960s

This beautiful vintage octagonal target ring dates back to the 1960s. It features an emerald diamond at its centre, weighing 0.70 carat. Graded highly at F in colour and VS2 in clarity, the diamond is rub over set to create a clean look. Surrounding this central diamond is a striking frame of square baguette cut sapphires, totalling 0.40 carats. A second halo of round brilliant cut diamonds, totalling 0.52 carat completes the design. Intricate millgrain detailing separates each layer of stones, with delicate, open basket work below allowing plenty of light in beneath the stone. Down each shoulder a further three small diamonds are sat leading down into the band. This stunning piece is crafted entirely in platinum.
