Victorian 0.40ct Sapphire and Diamond Three Stone Ring, c.1887
In stock
Dating back to the Victorian period, this wonderfully crafted trilogy ring displays a central old cut diamond at its centre, flanked by a pair of sapphires, with six additional decorative rose cut diamonds set between and on either end. The central diamond weighs 0.40 carat and has been given a colour grading of H and Clarity of VS1. The two sapphires weigh 0.25 carat a piece and contrast both the diamonds and gold band in a striking yet beautiful way. Each stone is firmly claw set in 18 carat yellow gold. The gallery features intricate carving in scrolled patterns which flow down onto the shoulders. Full british standard hallmarks on the inside of the band date this ring to 1887, making it a true late victorian treasure.
