18 Carat Yellow Gold

Out of stock
This late Victorian era sapphire and diamond ring was handmade in 18 carat yellow gold at the beginning of the 1900s. It features a claw set trio of oval-shaped sapphires in graduated sizes that alternate with vertically-arranged pairs of old cut diamonds. The wonderfully deep blue sapphires have a combined weight of 0.40 carat and the centre gemstone is surrounded by little old cut diamonds. They have a combined weight of 0.08 carat and are H in colour, SI in clarity. The ring’s original period setting features design hallmarks of its era, which include raised claw settings and hand-carved shoulders.
