Late Victorian Five Stone Sapphire and Diamond Ring, c.1900s

This late Victorian era ring, dating from the very early 1900s, showcases an enchanting combination of three transparent blue sapphires and a pair of old cut diamonds. The sapphires have a combined weight of 0.40 carat and the diamonds weigh 0.20 carat in total and are estimated as H in colour and SI in clarity. These antique stones are presented with the largest sapphire at the ring’s centre flanked by the diamonds and the two remaining sapphires. The ring’s antique 18 carat yellow gold setting features a subtle ridged design on the gallery and a decorative notch at either shoulder.
