Late Deco 1.00ct Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring, c.1940s
In stock
Dating back to the Late Deco period, this beautiful cluster ring features an intense blue sapphire at it’s centre enveloped by a collection of diamonds and additional sapphires. The central gem is a 1.00 carat oval cut stone, rub over set into platinum. The sapphire is cradled by a double row halo of round brilliant cut diamonds, interspersed with square cut sapphires, set in pairs. The diamonds total 0.54 carat and match in quality, with colour of G and clarity of VS. The sapphires in the outer row total 1.40 carat and give wonderful contrast to the glittering whit diamonds. Entirely hand crafted in platinum, the ring features intricately designed geometric basketwork adding real Deco feel to the piece. Adding a little extra sparkle, two further diamonds are set into each shoulder, completing the display.
