This classic solitaire features a 0.30 carat old cut diamond within a high claw setting. The diamond is estimated as G in colour and VS1 in clarity. The setting work, which has been made by hand, is all in platinum, as are the shoulders. The shoulders also have grain set rose cut diamonds with a combined weight of 0.06 carat. Typical of the Edwardian era, the shank is made in 18 carat yellow gold.
