Victorian 0.90ct Ruby and Diamond Five Stone Ring, c.1880s

This stunning ruby and diamond five stone ring was crafted in the Victorian era. The central ruby is 0.50 carat with the the rubies on either side weighing 0.20 carat each. Set in between the rubies are a pair of 0.20 carat, old cut diamonds. These diamonds match in quality, being estimated H in colour and VS in clarity. Adding a beautiful bit of extra detailing four rose cut diamonds are set at each corner of the central most ruby. The beautifully carved metal work of the gallery leads down into the gently tapered band, all hand made from 18 carat yellow gold.
