Vintage Diamond Cluster Ring, c.1940s

One gorgeous old cut diamond is the centrepiece of this late deco era diamond cluster ring. This diamond is accented at each of its cardinal points by a slightly smaller diamond, and with four smaller diamonds set at each intermediate point. Combined, the wonderful old cuts equate to 0.75 carat and are estimated to be G in colour and SI1 in clarity.  The ring’s 18 carat yellow and white gold setting forms an angled square cluster of diamonds grain set within an open back, chenier-detailed bezel, set between gracefully tapered shoulders.
