Set to centre in this 1970s ring is a deep blue sapphire. It is oval shaped and weighs 0.70 carat. It is claw set and beautifully haloed by sparkling diamonds. The diamonds are eight-cut stones which have a combined weight of 0.36 carat. They have been estimated as F in colour and VS in clarity. The setting work has been made from 18 carat white gold, whilst the band is 18 carat yellow gold. The band has grooved shoulders, adding further character.
