Vintage 1.70ct Ruby and Diamond Cluster Earrings, hallmarked 1978

These stunning ruby and diamond earrings were crafted in the 1970s. Each earring centres around a natural Burmese ruby, surrounded by a collection of additional rubies and diamonds. The central rubies are round cut stones weighing 0.85 carat a piece. The surrounding four rubies weigh 0.15 carat a each while the accompanying four round brilliant diamonds sit at 0.20 carat. The diamonds are of high quality, matching at F in colour and VVS in clarity. Each gem has been claw set into 18 carat white gold with a simple post and alpha back fastening keeping these beautiful earrings secure.
