Vintage 1.65ct Opal and Diamond Bangle, c.1950s

Dating to the 1950s, this beautiful bangle showcases a collection of nine ethereal opals. Set into 18 carat yellow gold the central opal sits largest at 0.25 carat with each stone then tapering down to the smallest at either end weighing 0.15 carat. Surrounding the opals decorative eight cut diamonds embellish the piece. Totalling 0.55 carat these diamonds match in quality at G in colour and VS in clarity. The bracelet is 17cm in length sitting beautifully on the wrist, it’s style reminiscent of the carved metalwork synonymous with the Victorian era.
