Victorian 10.75ct Aquamarine and Diamond Brooch/Pendant, c.1880s
Out of stock
Dating back to the 1880s, this stunning brooch pendant is all handcrafted from 15 carat rose gold and silver. A shining pear shape aquamarine stone steals the show, weighing 10.75 carat and beautifully rub over set. It is surrounded by a boarder of white enamelling to show off the colour. On the top of the design is a bow shape, leading into an intricate filigree design leading down to the tip of the piece. This detailing is grain set with rose cut diamonds, which add another level of character to this antique piece. They diamonds have a combined weight of 0.44 carat and are finished off with a mille-grain edging. There is a bail on the top of the piece, which allows it to be worn as a pendent, along with the pin on the back for the brooch. It also has a fitted box.
