Victorian 0.80ct Pink Sapphire and Diamond Ring, c.1880s

This stunning Victorian ring features an old cushion cut pink sapphire surrounded by a halo of diamonds. The pink sapphire is a wonderful, vibrant colour, and is 0.80 carat. It is surrounded by a halo of 12 old cut diamonds, totalling to 0.60 carat. They are great quality, with estimated grades of F colour and VS clarity. Two additional diamonds are set into the beautifully carved 18 carat yellow gold shoulders, adding another touch of detailing. This ring would have been made entirely by hand, from the cutting of the gemstones, to the working of the gold.
