Victorian 0.75ct Diamond Snake Ring, c.1860s
15 Carat Yellow Gold & Silver
£3,950.00
In stock
This intricate snake design ring dates back to the 1860s. The Victorian rarity features an unusual square rose cut diamond set atop the snakes head, surrounded by standard rose cut diamonds, all set into silver. The diamonds have a total weight of 0.75 carat. A pair of old cut rubies are set into gold to form the snakes eyes, both are 0.02 carat each. The band of 15 carat yellow gold tapers off from the snakes head to twist around the finger twice before ending at the snakes tail to complete the aesthetic. This is a delicately hand crafted ring and a true piece of history.
