Victorian 0.50ct Ruby and Diamond Halo Ring, c.1890s

This Victorian halo ring features a vibrant 0.50 carat ruby at it’s centre. The old oval cut stone is claw set into 18 carat yellow gold and surrounded by a halo of old cut diamonds totalling 0.40 carat. Each Diamond matches in colour at H and ranged in clarity from VS2 to SI1 in clarity, forming a beautiful halo contrasting the luscious red of the ruby perfectly. The band is adorned with delicate carved detailing across each shoulder, a hallmark of Victorian craftsmanship, adding an extra layer of elegance to the piece.
