Victorian 0.50ct Pink Sapphire and Diamond Twist Ring, c.1880s

With a distinct Art Nouveau design, this beautiful Victorian ring features a pink sapphire flanked by two old cut diamonds at its centre. claw set diagonally the old cushion cut sapphire is a natural pink stone weighing 0.50 carat. The diamonds to either side are 0.24 carat a piece, with a colour of G and clarity of SI. Flowing down the elegantly shaped shoulders, further diamonds sparkle. A 0.15 carat old cut sits with a series of rose cut diamonds daintily set below, totalling 0.16 carat and matching the others on quality. Each diamond is set into platinum whilst the Sapphire is set into 18 carat rose gold, the main metal used in this stunning hand crafted design.
