Victorian 0.25ct Ruby and Diamond Three Stone, c.1880s

This wonderful Victorian three stone ring features a vivid red ruby at its centre, flanked by a pair of old cut diamonds. The ruby is a 0.25 carat, old cut stone. The two diamonds are 0.15 carat a piece matching in quality at G in colour and SI1 in clarity. All three stones have been claw set 18 carat yellow gold collets, sitting on a band of the same metal.
