Victorian 0.25ct Emerald and Diamond Halo Cluster Ring, c.1880s

This captivating Victorian cluster ring showcases a unique design. At its centre, a 0.25 carat emerald is sat, cut in a classic emerald cut shape and rub over set into platinum. Surrounding the central stone are 0.36 carats of sparkling old cut diamonds, creating a halo enhancing the vivid green of the emerald. Additional smaller old cut diamonds adorn the shoulders of the ring, bringing the total to 0.40 carat. All diamonds match in quality, at I in colour and SI in clarity. The stones are set in platinum with a contrasting basket and band of 18 carat yellow gold band and basket.
