Late Victorian Three Stone Diamond and Sapphire Rope Design Ring, c.1900s

A bold sculptural ring in 18 carat yellow gold dating from the very early 1900s and featuring a rope design. This late Victorian era piece highlights an eight cut diamond, weighing 0.05 carat, flanked by a pair of old cut sapphires, all rubover-set within engraved surrounds, its broad shoulders tapering ever so slightly to a substantial shank. The sapphires have a combined weight of 0.06 carat and are a beautiful blue. The diamond has a strong colour grade of H and estimated SI in clarity. Although small, it really shines through!
