Three deep blue oval-shaped sapphires with a combined weight of 0.45 carat. are alternated with twin old cut diamonds in this grain-set rendition of one of the Victorians’ favourite styles. The hand cut diamonds match perfect with the hand cut sapphires and have a total weight of 0.20 carat. They are H in colour and SI in clarity. Handmade in 18 carat yellow gold around the turn of the twentieth century, the ring’s ornately-carved shoulders were considered to be the height of period fashion.
