Late Art Deco 0.55ct Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring, c.1930s

This late Art Deco period ring is set in a square grid pattern with eight cut diamonds at each of its cardinal points and bright blue French cut sapphires at its centre and corners. These vintage stones are presented in millegrain-detailed platinum over 18 carat yellow gold. The eight cut diamonds total 0.10 carat and work in harmony with the sapphires weighing 0.55 carat in total. They are G in colour and SI in clarity. Grain set diamonds and hand-done millegrain work at the shoulders put the sparkling finishing touches to this lovely and colourful, circa 1930s, two-tone ring.
