A gorgeous transitional cut diamond is the centre of this late art deco engagement ring. This type of diamond shape is a typical of the 1930s and 1940s, and is a transition from old cut to modern round brilliant. The diamond is 0.45 carat, and is G colour and VS2 clarity. Three eight-cut diamonds are set on the shoulders, totalling to 0.06 carat. The diamonds are held within platinum, which extends onto the shoulders, while the band is made of 18 carat yellow gold.
