This Edwardian ring features a natural, unheated 4.30 carat deep blue sapphire at the centre of an unusual marquise shaped design. The sapphire is cabochon cut, and is surrounded by ten rose cut diamonds in the marquise-shaped setting. The sapphire is rub over set in 18 carat yellow gold, while the diamonds are set in platinum. The band is also made of 18 carat yellow gold. This is a stunning showpiece featuring the excellent craftsmanship and creativity of the Edwardian time.
