Edwardian 2.30ct Diamond and Ruby Target Ring, c.1910s

A stunning 2.30 carat old cushion cut diamond is enveloped in a ring of rubies in this beautiful Edwardian target ring. The central diamond is of good quality with colour of F to G and clarity of SI2 and is rub over set within platinum.  The surrounding circle of rubies totals to 0.64 carat with each delicately placed to create an unbroken ring of of vivid red. A scalloped halo of old cut diamonds completes the target. Set in platinum these additional diamonds total 0.72 carat and match the centre in quality. Rounding off this pieces spectacular display, an additional 0.05 carat old cut diamond sits atop each shoulder. Classic to the age, the beautifully hand carved basket and band have been crafted in contrasting 18 carat yellow gold to create a truly one of a kind piece.
