Edwardian 2.00ct Turquoise and Diamond Brooch, c.1910s

This charming Edwardian brooch features a wonderful flower design centred around a 0.30 carat old‑cut diamond. Four pear shaped cabochon cut turquoises, each weighing 0.50 carat, form the petals, with a further 0.20 carat of old‑cut diamonds set along the curved stem.  Each diamond matches in quality at G in colour and VS in clarity. The diamonds are set in platinum, whilst the turquoise claw setting and rear of the brooch are crafted in 18 carat yellow gold.  Finished with a simple pin fitting this brooch measures 2 cm in diameter.
