Edwardian 0.80ct Diamond and Ruby Drop Pendant, c.1910s

This beautiful double drop pendant dates from the Edwardian era. Each drop is adorned with a cluster of four old cut diamonds, surrounded by channel set French cut rubies, and suspended from diamond set bars. Above, a single old cut diamond sits within a further ruby set motif. The diamonds total 0.80 carat, and match in quality at G in colour and SI in clarity, while the rubies total 1.20 carat. Crafted in platinum and 18 carat yellow gold, the pendant is suspended from a 15 inch chain.
