A stunning oval cut ruby sits centre stage in this halo cluster ring from the Edwardian era. The ruby is 0.55 carat and has been rub over set into platinum. Surrounding the ruby we find a halo of thirteen old cut diamond. Totalling 1.52 carat, these diamonds have been estimate I in colour and VS to SI in clarity. The platinum mount of the halo has been masterfully crafted to leave a gap between itself and the ruby it surrounds. The ring is finished with a gently tapering band made from 18 carat yellow gold.
