Cushion Cut Diamond and Pear Cut Emerald Ring, c.1880s
Out of stock
Dating to approximately 1880, this stunning Victorian ring has a beautiful old cut diamond in the centre. It is a cushion cut, which adds to it’s rarity, and weighs 0.80 carat. It has been given an approximate colour grade of G and clarity VS. In conjunction with the diamond, there are two pear cut Emeralds which are a dark green. They each weigh 0.50 carat, and have been certified by GCS. The Emeralds are natural with minor clarity enhancement, and to finish off the piece, there are six 0.05 carat old cuts surrounding. In line with the Victorian era, the whole piece is made of 18 carat yellow gold, which really makes the Emeralds stand out. It’s a unique and interesting dress ring, suitable for the antique lovers! The hand carvings on the shank add to the character as well, and this craftsmanship spills into the shoulders as well. The detailing is impeccable.
