Art Deco 0.80ct Two Stone Drop Diamond Necklace, c.1920s

A beautiful necklace dating back to the 1920s, featuring two drops with 0.40 carat diamonds on the end. They are dazzling diamonds, G in colour and VS2 in clarity, making the piece truly sparkle. The piece leads up with further old cut diamonds and rose cuts accentuating up, meeting at three set as a bail. These stones have a combined weight of 0.50 carat and connect to the platinum chain. They all match in superb quality and have been hand set in the rub over setting. It has been finished with a mille-grain edge on the platinum. The back of the piece has been crafted from 14 carat yellow gold, a unique feature. It also comes with a fitted box.
