Art Deco 5.40ct Diamond Cross Pendant, c.1920s

This beautiful cross pendant dates to the Art Deco period. Hand crafted in platinum the cross is adorned with a total of 5.40 carat in old cut diamonds. At its centre sits the largest stone at 0.40 carat with graduating diamonds sitting above and to the right and left. These graduating stones sit at 0.20, 0.25 and 0.30 carat respectively. Below the centre stone seven matching 0.30 carat stones complete the central diamond cross. Additional decorative diamonds totalling 0.65 carat are set surrounding the central cross and across the bail. Each diamond used is of good quality ranging in colour from G to H and in clarity from VS to SI.
