Art Deco 2.40ct Diamond and Sapphire Cocktail Ring, c.1920s
In stock
Three old cut diamonds, each grain set within a box collet, comprise the horizontal centre of this unmistakably Art Deco Coctail ring.
A graduating pair of grain set, old cut diamonds flanks the centre diamond vertically, forming a cross design, which is accented with hand-set, baguette cut sapphires in a vibrant shade of blue.
This original handmade 1920s cocktail ring is set in platinum with a total of 2.40 carats of VS clarity, old cut diamonds and 1.00 carat of baguette cut sapphires.
It has a lovely openwork gallery, which shows a high level of period craftsmanship, and raised shoulders with cheniers, which was a popular design in rings of this era.
