Art Deco 0.75ct Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring, c.1920s

This beautifully unique cluster ring features a mix of sapphires and diamonds. Central to the Art Deco piece is a vivid blue, oval cut sapphire rub over set into platinum. The Sapphire weighs 0.25 carat and is surrounded by alternating sapphires and diamonds. The surrounding four sapphires are trillion cuts, weighing 0.10 carat a piece, whilst the diamonds are all old cuts, weighing 0.15 carat each. The diamonds have been given an estimated grading of G in colour and VS2 in clarity. The basketwork and band are crafted from 18 carat ring, creating a wonderful contrast in colour from the white and blue of the ring’s head.
