Vintage Diamond and Sapphire Floral Cluster Ring, c.1950s

This stunning and breath-taking ring dates back to the 1950s and features a collection of diamonds and sapphires set within a floral design. The beautiful diamond in the centre of the ring weighs 0.92 carat and is rub over set within platinum. The stone is a wonderful G in colour and VS2 in clarity. There is a halo of deep blue sapphires around the centre stone, which is broken up by rub over set diamonds. There are five diamonds. The second halo of sapphires adds more colour to this beautiful piece of jewellery, and the halos combined, have the sapphire weight totalling 0.60 carat. The final halo is made of more sparkling diamonds which, added to the other five, total 0.54 carat. It’s an intricate and exquisite ring. All the metal work is finished off will a mille-grain edge, leading into a crafted gallery full of character. The shank is also made of platinum to finish off this impressive dress or engagement ring.
