Vintage 2.30ct Yellow Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring, c.1970s

This vintage cluster ring the 1970s showcases a stunning yellow sapphire. The oval cut sapphire weighs 2.30 carat and is set securely in a claw setting. The vibrant sapphire is surrounded by a halo of round brilliant cut diamonds totalling 0.96 carat, adding sparkle and brilliance to the ring. down each shoulder additonal diamonds totalling 0.06 carat add to the display. The diamonds each rang in colour from  G to H and match in clarity at VS in clarity. All stones are set into platinum, whilst the band and basketwork are crafted in 18-carat yellow gold, complementing the yellow sapphire perfectly.
