Vintage 1.83ct Sapphire and Diamond Ring, c.1970s

An outstanding natural vivid blue sapphire is the focal point of this vintage, platinum ring. The sapphire is of a cushion shape and weighs 1.83 carat. Set within platinum claws, it is also surrounded by a sparkling cluster halo of round brilliant diamonds. These diamonds total to 0.75 carat and have been estimated as G in colour and VS-SI in clarity. The diamonds are encased within a metal edging and discrete claws, gently securing them in.
