Vintage 0.50ct Diamond and Emerald Cluster Ring, c.1940s

This beautiful 1940s cluster ring features a mix of old cut diamonds and emerald cut emeralds in a chequered design. A central diamond is set by four emeralds at each of the cardinal points, whilst four diamonds are set diagonally to create this unique design. Each of the stones on the face weigh 0.10 carat, for a total of 0.50 carat in total of diamonds and 0.40 carat total of emeralds. The diamonds match in quality being graded highly at G in colour and VS in clarity. Down each shoulder, adding a little extra sparkle, a further 0.06 carat of diamonds have been set. The ring itself has been crafted from platinum.
