Victorian Diamond, Sapphire and Ruby Heart Ring, c.1890s

Dating back to the 1890s, this Victorian ring features a halo of old cut diamonds in a double heart motif, highlight a sapphire and ruby in the centre. The sapphire and ruby are both natural and each weigh 0.20 carat. The diamonds have a combined weight of 0.48 carat and are estimated to be G in colour and VS2. All the stones are claw set within 18 carat yellow gold. There is hand crafted patterning on the shoulders which adds character to this already colourful piece of jewellery.
