A bright blue cabochon turquoise is centred within a halo of old cut diamonds at the heart of this late Victorian era ring dating from the 1880s. The turquoise weighs 1.00 carat exactly, whilst the the halo of dazzling diamonds equates to 1.10 carat. The stones are estimated to be H in colour and SI1 in clarity. The ring’s original 18 carat yellow gold setting was handmade in period style with claw and grain mountings, a pierced gallery and stylised shoulders.
