Victorian 2.30ct Diamond Ruby and Pearl Brooch Pendant, c.1900s
In stock
A splendid example of late Victorian grandeur, this brooch pendant centres around a 0.60ct old cut diamond, enveloped in an intricate array of rose and eight cut diamonds. Encircling the centre are a ring of vibrant old old cut rubies weighing 0.90cts, adding a regal contrast. Flourishes of diamond set scrolls bloom outward bringing the diamond total to 2.30 carat. Each diamond ranges in quality from G to H in colour and from VS to SI in clarity. A luminous natural pearl measuring 9.5mm x 8mm suspends delicately below. Crafted with a silver front and 15 carat yellow gold back, the piece measures 7cm x 3.5cm and has simple pin brooch back along with hidden bale at the top so can be worn as either a necklace or brooch.
