Victorian 0.70ct Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring, c.1880s

This stunning Victorian cluster ring showcases an unheated Thai sapphire at its centre. The intense blue sapphire is an oval cut stone weighing 0.70 carat. Encircling the sapphire are a halo of old cut diamonds, totalling 1.70 carat. These diamonds range in colour from G to H and in clarity from SI1. Each shoulder is adorned with a further 0.06 carat of additional diamonds matching in quality and bringing real finesse to the piece. Expertly handcrafted in rich 18 carat yellow gold, this ring is a wonderful example of Victorian craftsmanship.
