Victorian 0.50ct Emerald and Diamond Ring, c.1880s

This elegant Victorian ring showcases a two row design of cushion cut emeralds and diamonds. The largest of the five emeralds sits central at 0.15 carat, with two flanking stones weighing 0.10 carat each, and a pair of 0.075  carat stones at either end, each set in 18 carat yellow gold. Above, the five diamonds match the emeralds in size, with colour of H and clarity of VS, each of these set in platinum. The ring is completed with split, carved shoulders and ornate basketwork, all handcrafted in 18 carat yellow gold, a hallmark of the era.
