Victorian 0.40ct Sapphire and Diamond Trilogy Ring, c.1880s

This classic Victorian trilogy ring features a central Sapphire flanked by old cut diamonds. The old cushion cut central stone is a beautiful blue stone weighing 0.40 carat. The accompanying diamonds weigh 0.20 carat a piece and match each other in quality at H in colour and VS1 in clarity. Each stone has been expertly claw set into a ring of 18 carat yellow gold with beautifully carved shoulders flowing down into the band.
