Late Victorian 3.60ct Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Earrings, c.1900s

Dating to the Late Victorian era come this stunning pair of cluster earrings. Each earring centres around a natural Sri Lankan sapphire surrounded by old cut diamonds. The oval cut sapphire pair weigh 1.80 carat a piece and are heated to enhance their vibrant blue colour. The accompanying diamonds weigh 1.75 carat each earring for a total of 3.50 carat. The sparkling stones range in colour from G to H and Clarity from VS to SI. Each stone has been expertly set into handcrafted 18 carat yellow gold, with secure hinge back fittings, holding the pair firmly in place.
