The centre stone on this three stone ring is a deep blue sapphire. It is a natural stone set within a claw setting. Adjacent are two diamonds, one on either side. The dazzling diamonds are transitional cut stones, typical of the 1940s era. They each weigh 0.40 carat and have been estimated as F in colour and VS1 in clarity. They are also claw set and all the collets have been made in platinum. The band is in 18 carat yellow gold.
