Edwardian Three Stone Diamond Engagement Ring, c.1910

18 Carat Yellow Gold + Platinum

This lovely Edwardian era three stone diamond engagement ring centres an old cut diamond between a pair of smaller old cut diamonds. All were hand-set in platinum around 1910. The centre stone is presented within its original split claw mounting, which was designed to make the stone appear slightly larger than its size, and the accent stones are set in their original engraved rubover mountings. In keeping with the prevailing style of the day, the balance of this antique ring is rendered in 18 carat yellow gold.
