Edwardian Illusion Set Three Stone Diamond Ring, c.1910
18 Carat Yellow Gold & Platinum
Dating back to approximately 1910, this delicate Edwardian three stone ring has a combined weight of 0.20 carat. The centre diamond, which is an old cut, weighs 0.10 carat and the two old cut set adjacent weigh 0.05 carat each. The stones are estimated as H in colour and VS in clarity. The diamonds are illusion set within platinum, which has been intricately detailed by hand. The shoulders are also in platinum, whilst the band has been made in 18 carat yellow gold. This was typical of the era.
