Diamond and Sapphire Three Stone Ring, c.1930s

This vintage circa 1930s diamond and sapphire rendition of the classic three stone engagement ring centres a round deep blue natural sapphire between a pair of round old cut diamonds totalling 0.50ct. They are estimated as G in colour and VS2 in clarity, which works in harmony with the centre sapphire. The ring was handmade decades ago to a high standard in 18 carat yellow gold with open back claw mountings, carved scrollwork, and a tapering shank for comfort.
