Art Deco Transitional Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, c.1920s

18 Carat White Gold


This handmade cluster ring dates to the 1920s and is made up of transitional cut diamonds and 8-cut diamonds. The centre three stones are the transitional cut diamonds, with the centre weighing 0.40 carat and the two adjacent each weighing 0.15 carat. The ring has a marquise shape and the halo of 8-cuts includes 22 diamonds. There are then six on each shoulder, bringing the total weight to 0.74 carat. All the diamonds match in quality, which is F in colour and VS2 in clarity, showing the quality. The ring has been made with a filigree design which is hand engraved and carved from 18 carat white gold.
